UNODC conducted an African Digital Forensics CTF Competition which embarked on 5/3/2021. The competition was run for a month-long which ended on 31/5/2021. The CTF Involved 4 categories which included

  1. Disk Analysis
  2. Ram Analysis
  3. Network Analysis 
  4. Android Analysis

The competition had 29 African countries that participated and 282 participants. The top 5 countries were Benin, South Africa, Tanzania, Guinee, and Cameroon. The top 5 was held by Benin, the 6th position was held by South Africa, and the 7th – 10th position was held by Tanzania where Mr. Kharim Mchatta taking the Lead from Tanzania holding the 7th position. We would like to congratulate him for his outstanding performance in the competition.

We would like to take this opportunity to congratulate the top 10 winners and everybody else who participated in the competition till the end.
